Football Calendars – User Terms
These User Terms govern the use of Football Calendars and all related football calendar synchronisation services, feeds, tokens, notifications and associated platform features provided by Football Calendars.
1. Introduction
Welcome to Football Calendars (“Football Calendars”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
Football Calendars provides football calendar synchronisation services that allow users to receive football match schedules and updates in their preferred calendar applications.
By:
- using Football Calendars,
- synchronising a football calendar,
- requesting or using a calendar token,
- or accessing football calendar feeds or related services,
you agree to these User Terms.
If you do not agree to these User Terms, you must not use Football Calendars or its services.
2. Our Services
Football Calendars allows users to:
- synchronize football matches with personal calendar applications,
- follow clubs, countries, competitions and tournaments,
- receive fixture updates,
- manage football calendar preferences,
- and optionally receive football-related updates by e-mail.
Certain features may change, expand or become unavailable over time.
3. Availability & Accuracy of Data
Football Calendars aims to provide reliable and up-to-date football calendar information.
However, we cannot guarantee:
- accuracy,
- completeness,
- availability,
- uninterrupted synchronisation,
- or the correctness of all football data.
Match schedules and updates depend partly on third-party data providers and external sources.
Some matches may not appear due to:
- unavailable source data,
- closed-door fixtures,
- delayed updates,
- or non-standard match formats.
Friendly matches are included where available.
Football Calendars is not responsible for incorrect, incomplete or delayed football data.
4. Informational & Entertainment Purposes Only
All football calendar information is provided solely for:
- informational,
- educational,
- and entertainment purposes.
Football Calendars does not provide:
- betting advice,
- financial advice,
- gambling recommendations,
- or guarantees regarding match schedules or results.
Users remain fully responsible for decisions based on football calendar information.
5. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for:
- providing accurate information,
- maintaining access to their own calendar applications,
- managing their personal calendar subscriptions,
- and securing their own devices and accounts.
Users may not:
- misuse the platform,
- attempt unauthorised access,
- generate artificial activity,
- use automated abuse tools,
- violate applicable laws or regulations,
- or interfere with the operation of Football Calendars.
6. Calendar Synchronisation
Football Calendars provides calendar feeds and synchronisation tools compatible with supported calendar applications.
Actual synchronisation speed and update frequency depend on:
- the user’s calendar application,
- device settings,
- and third-party calendar providers.
Football Calendars cannot guarantee immediate synchronisation or the timing of updates.
Users may remove calendar subscriptions directly through their own calendar application.
7. E-mail Communication
Users may receive:
- service-related e-mails,
- technical notifications,
- requested football calendar updates,
- and, where consent is provided, newsletter communications.
Users may unsubscribe from newsletter communications at any time.
Important service-related e-mails may still be sent where necessary for operation, security or requested services, including after a user unsubscribes from newsletter communications.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
Football Calendars processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR where applicable.
Personal data is processed solely for purposes related to:
- football calendar synchronisation,
- platform functionality,
- communication,
- security,
- abuse prevention,
- and service improvement.

9. Intellectual Property
All platform content, branding, logos, software and related materials remain the property of Football Calendars or its licensors.
Users may not:
- copy,
- resell,
- redistribute,
- reverse engineer,
- or commercially exploit
the platform or its content without prior written permission, except where permitted under applicable copyright laws or mandatory legal exceptions.
Where legally permitted use applies, users must provide appropriate attribution and, where reasonably possible, include a reference or link to the original source.
10. Advertising, Sponsorships & Affiliate Relationships
Football Calendars may generate revenue and/or receive commercial benefits through:
- sponsorships,
- advertisements,
- affiliate partnerships,
- referral programs,
- commercial collaborations
- barter agreements
- or other promotional or commercial arrangements
Users are not entitled to:
- compensation,
- revenue sharing,
- commissions,
- or financial participation
based on their use of the platform unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.
11. Limitation of Liability
Football Calendars provides its services on a best-effort basis.
Users acknowledge that Football Calendars is primarily offered as a free service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Football Calendars excludes all liability for:
- indirect damages,
- consequential damages,
- loss of profits,
- missed opportunities,
- loss of data,
- synchronisation failures,
- service interruptions,
- cyberattacks,
- hacking incidents,
- unauthorised access,
- incorrect, incomplete or delayed football data
Where liability cannot legally be excluded:
- Football Calendars shall only be liable in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
- Security incidents, hacking attempts or third-party cyberattacks shall not automatically constitute gross negligence.
- Liability shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the user to Football Calendars during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Changes to the Platform & User Terms
Football Calendars reserves the right to:
- modify,
- suspend,
- discontinue,
- or update
parts of the platform or these User Terms at any time.
Updated versions become effective upon publication.
Continued use of Football Calendars after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated User Terms.
13. Termination & Suspension
Football Calendars may suspend or terminate access to the platform in cases of:
- abuse,
- fraud,
- illegal activities,
- excessive misuse,
- security risks,
- or violations of these User Terms.
Users may stop using Football Calendars at any time by removing calendar subscriptions from their calendar applications.
14. Assignment, Transfer & Corporate Changes
Football Calendars reserves the right to:
- transfer,
- assign,
- sublicense,
- outsource,
- restructure,
- merge,
- sell,
- or otherwise transfer
all or part of the platform, services, agreements, assets or related rights and obligations to any affiliated entity, successor or third party.
Such transfer shall not affect the continued validity of these User Terms.
Football Calendars may continue its services under a different brand name, platform name, domain name or corporate structure.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These User Terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
Any disputes shall be submitted exclusively to the competent court in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
If any provision of these User Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain fully applicable.
Any invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
16. Language & Translations
These User Terms may be translated into other languages for convenience purposes.
In case of differences or inconsistencies between translations, the English version shall prevail.
